Class seemed easy enough at first appearance but the exams are difficult and very book heavy! I didn't think that it was at all necessary to attend class because all of the information came from the book. He is an interesting teacher, but I found the lecture boring and irrelevant.

Clas is not mandatory but he does say some interesting things which contain good life lessons and are inspiring. Everything is very textbook base and if you are organized you will do well. He is a nice guy and loves chocolate milk.

Horrible. His tests are open-book and answers come straight from the text, but don't be fooled - Tests are 60 short answers questions in 60 minutes, so it is more a race against the clock that actually having to know anything. Make a table of contents. Got a got mark, but didn't learn anything.

Comment:

Attendance is only necessary to hear his odd scenarios, which can be quite interesting. Very book intensive. Online reviewer that comes with the book helps A LOT. Open book exams but make a reviewer and mark related pages. Exam questions are random and come from the book's question bank. If you take the night class, he only talks at most 2 hours.

Exams involve flipping through a huge book full of acts and statutes and copying down the answer. Make sure you make a table of contents! You need to navigate well to do well. His presentations are good but the cases groups present are very boring.

LAW 122 is a very difficult course belive it or not. Most students have failed this course atleast once. Robert passes everyone. Going to class is not mandatory, just index your textbook like crazy, do the online quizzes and try to get pass midterms. I'm not a good student, but I ended up with a B!

He's a nice prof. First class was a bit confusing, but the rest was fine. Some examples that he gives are really funny. Mid-term and exam wasn't easy, but reasonable. Got A in his class.

Extremely hard exams!!! I'd rather take 2 other courses then this one! The exams are open book but it doesn't help you at all! Don't take this class if you need a good marks. Don't expect to learn anything from the teacher except of history!

I have never seen test like that, You need your book, the questions are so hard. And the teacher doesn't really explain to you. The only thing positive, at the last class, he gives you somes questions may be in the final test.

I really liked him he was funny...read the txt book cause everything is based on it, page by page. Dont even have to go to his classes, and get past midterms cause they EXACTLY the same. Exam is pretty hard but not cause of him cause of other law profs. Make sure u get him. I got an A and so did most of my friends in this class. Drop if u get Monro

I don't if he is nice guy or a great teacher. This class is just plain booring and I don't think he made it anymore exciting than it could be. Maybe taking 60 questions out of a test bank, times that by three ... How hard could it get is what you are thinking . Well think again and think hard.

Robert is a very nice guy. His teaching style is different because half the time he's giving you stories about his life and his law cases. He doesnt go through the text book, so get ready to take some detailed notes. Make sure you get his hand outs! Remember that his exams are open book BUT THEY ARE HARD if you're not organized. Take him.

Though the tests were difficult, they are manageable if you know your text inside and out. (take the time to index things!) Mr. Geurts was helpful when asked specific questions regarding the class material but otherwise I found the class to be more of a social interaction. Still it was interesting to hear his many stories.
