Comment:

If taking History 150, I would chose Dr. Hall. The class was tough at first, all lectures and only tests. No need to read the textbook it is optional, but the lectures are enough. The test can be tough but take good notes and pay attention. He gives lots of extra credit oppurtunities so be in class on those days

This class is super easy, just take notes and study before the exams and you'll do fine. He gives you a bunch of chances for extra credit. He's a really chill professor and will definitely help you if you need it.

Dr. Hall does his absolute best to try to make the lectures fun and entertaining. He also gives outlines for the lectures, so you can follow along and take notes off of that which is really nice. I loved having class with him!

This is a very tough class, but he tries to make it fun. Go to class, listen, and take notes. Doesnt give a clear outline for tests so study study study.

Halls lectures are fairly interesting and he really knows what he is talking about, but his exams are insane. His wording is impossible and dont correlate with what is lectured. He offers tons of extra credit, but unless you do well on exams, its impossible to do well.

he is a great professor. You never have to read in the book unless it comes test time and he gives you about 10-15 pages to read. Lots of extra credit to boost your grade and he has a good sense of humor. Definitely recommend taking him for this class over the other teachers.

Dr. Hall's HIST 150 class is by far the easiest class I have taken. He posts outlines for every lecture that have all of the material covered. He also doesn't take attendance, which makes it very convenient to skip if you need to. Only qualm is that the grades are all from tests, but extra credit is offered in class every other week at least.

Dr. Hall was a very good professor. He gives you note outlines that help when you have to take your own notes during lectures. The exams are pretty difficult but he gives out an insane amount of extra credit!

I never got the textbook so oops. His lectures are okay and he's nice but his exams are impossible. Extra credit is the only reason I'm passing. If you take him, you'll survive but idk that I would recommend.

I loved Dr. Hall! He always has an outline of notes for all of the students each class which makes taking notes very easy. He also gives clear study guides with page numbers for the information that is from the textbook. I would definitely recommend taking him. I thought it was an easy A as long as you actually listen and take notes.

You get in class outlines and he only has pictures on the powerpoints, you have to follow what he is saying to get the notes. He has optional study sessions the day that the exams open and I suggest going, you get a study guide and you can ask questions that you have (it is ran by TAs). You also have many different extra credit opportunities.

Nice professor, but the way he does notes makes it difficult. If it's hard for you to pay attention in class, this isn't the professor for you. He gives you a "note guide" with main points on it and you fill it out as he talks. There are no words on his powerpoint so if you miss a class you'll have to read to fill it out. Tests are hard.

Test were hard and didn't cover what we learned in class. We jumped around in the book, so it was hard to follow along and teach yourself. I knew more about what was going on in his life than I knew about the content of his class. Boring lectures and tests that don't go along with the lectures. There are extra credit opportunities, so go to class.

Mr. Hall is a great history teacher. His tests are mostly lecture based so don't skip. He gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit, it can raise you a whole letter grade. His lectures are easy to understand and follow. He also passionate about history which makes his lectures more enjoyable and interesting

You have to show up to class to get the info that is going to be on the test. The only grades are tests but he offers a lot of extra credit. Easy A as long as you show up and take notes. No homework ever. No midterm. No final. He makes his lectures interesting and has a good sense of dry humor.

Robert Hall is a very good History 150 professor. He provides extra credit and a study guide for every test. He also gives out class outlines, which really help when taking notes. You must be in class and take the notes or you will fail the tests. Ten questions are from the book, but he tells you ahead of time what pages to read.

He is pretty funny and easy to understand. He put class outlines on blackboard that are very useful. He follows them almost exactly and it helps you take notes for the class. Also if you just go to class and do the in class exercises you get 5 points extra credit to your TESTS which are very manageable.

Comment:

Professor Halls lectures will have you laughing at least once each class. Answers a lot of questions. His lectures are interesting and informative. Use the class outlines he gives you to take notes during class, they are helpful on tests.
