WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! He makes attendance mandatory for students, but then he doesn't show up for class half the time. He's arrogant and rude. He doesn't actually teach. He just rambles about things that have nothing to do with the class. I got an A in the class, so I'm not just saying this because I didn't do well.

The word terrible pretty much sums up everything. I cant understand what he says ever bc everything he says is awkardly phased. There are No papers and 5 test; all of which are open-book and online. It sounds good but its horrible bc the questions from the test come from his scattered brain. AVOID him!

If you have him and a huge class you're screwed because he will not do discussion, which is stupid not to have in an english class, he never goes over what we have to do, doesn't communicate well with the class, and is always late. Questions on the test have a lot of things that HE thinks. I would NOT recommend him.

WORST ENGLISH PROF. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. He assigns tons of reading and never goes over ANY of it! Tests are ridculous and even if you read EVERYTHING you still fail! Class is awful. He is ALWAYS late. Some days (6 total for the semester) he wouldn't even show up... including the day before a test!!! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

WORST professor imagineable! he's late to class, sometimes doesn't even show up. He doesn't know what he's doing and if you're in a large class you're screwed to say the least. The tests are open book and open note however the answers are according to what HE thinks, which he rarely tells you. In class he goes on a rampage and never makes sense.

He has a major attitude problem. He loves to hear himself talk. He talks in class about nothing to do with tests. He cancelled class for a week and when he came back he issued a test!! Dont expect to learn anything in this class!! He's a lazy teacher and very arrogant. Avg grade is about a C :( and im an A student!

I will admit, his class was pretty ridiculous. He seems very scatterbrained and he didn't go by his syllabus. It was weird because you're given a lot of required reading that you ARE tested on, but the class discussions had very little if anything to do with the readings. I made an A in the class. Just attempt to understand him and you'll do ok.

THIS TEACHER IS HORRIBLE! He is crystally unclear! He does not care about your grade, or other peoples grades. In my two full years of school, this is my worse teacher! You don't have to write papers... that's why I took this class, but I almost miss writing papers!!!

I have never had so much stress in a class before. I read everything and watched all the movies and I still failed the tests, and they're open book! The tests are very interpretive and you have to figure out what his opinion of the answer is, which he doesn't tell you. I normally enjoy lit, but this class was awful.

I can not STAND him! TERRIBLE world lit professor! He assigns a lot of reading... but the tests are so vague and biased that it's difficult to study. He gives open-book/open-note tests and quizzes and it's still hard! DON'T TAKE MR.HILL!!!

So many comments on his subjectivity in grading. I'm wondering what the point of a teacher is anyway if his opinion shouldn't matter. Do you want a completely objective robot grading your very subjective ideas? I think Hill deserves the right to say what he thinks about your work. Isn't that part of what he gets paid to do?

Prof Hill was a hard teacher yet a pretty enjoyable class. We only wrote 4 papers each semester and as long as you wrote them to make sense to the subject you get a good grade. His syllabus says attendance is mandatory, but I probably only went to about half of his classes and still received high marks. He will help you 1 on 1 as well.

unless you like decoding what he tells you to do for an assignment do not take him. everything he says is incredibly vague and when you question him about it to try to clarify he (what it seems like) takes his time to make the assignment even more confusing! he is more worried about how you write your paper than the ideas that are in it.

Worst teacher i have had so far @ KSU. he grades stuff on how he feels about the paper and not on how you did. some of the topics sound like he came up with them while buzzed. (write and essay about what you were feeling when you wrote another essay?)if you dont understand what he means(happens alot)asking questions makes things worse. do not take!

Smart guy, encourages students to think for themselves. Grading system is completely subjective. Gives very general idea of what assignments are so suppossed to be, and is very vague about what he will actually grade u on. Grades based on how he FEELS about your work. Bad about posting grades & indirect when informing students on their progress.
