Wonderful for this course compared to other professors who offer it, YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF lucky. Very easy breakdown of marks, no final, 2 tests all multiple choice and 2 written assignments that are so easy. Great examples, content dry at times due to theory but NOT picky at all and a nice man!!!!!

Lots of my friends really loved Dr. Larmer. They were all male, just saying. He seems like a good guy, but I didn't enjoy his classes or his lectures. Your grade will be incrementally higher if your papers directly reflect his opinion, which is not what you usually see in a philosophy prof. I just didn't like him or the class, I was uncomfortable.

Definitely an under-appreciated prof. He teaches philosophy of religion, so I don't get why people are angry when he starts theological debate. It's part of the friggin material. Openly christian, but still willing to listen to counterarguments, and give seemingly unbiased opinion whenever possible. Definitely recommended.

Comment:
Took Phil of Relig. Quite clear, knowledgeable, nice. Some don't like his religion, but he justifies himself rationally and non-theists must as well. (That's the difference between philosophy and opinion.) He brings up the issues, and doesn't dodge questions. He also admits to gaps in theism. (Try getting a Marxist prof to do the same for Marx!)

Great Prof. Very clear. Some people don't like the fact that he's a Christian, well get over yourself. Every other university prof is bias the other way. I'm sad to see some people don't like having their views challenged.

A nice guy, and gives great examples. However, he can be a little dry and like most profs, has an obvious ideological bias.
