Big words? I guess the ppl who thought he was "difficult" to understand didn't get into the program~ Levit was a nice guy, he's really educated and his work is amazing. You'd think university-educated students would appreciate his level of teaching!

LOVE him! It's so refreshing to learn from an enthusiastic professor, and you can tell he really really loves what he's talking about. Note-taking is easier if you have a laptop (and fast fingers), but his lectures aren't too difficult to follow. And anyways, it is a university class.

Professor Levit clearly enjoys teaching. His classes are entertaining and very informative. Sure he uses 'big words', but if you bring your electronic dictionary to class with you your set! Now I am totally enspired to become a world class architect.

Professor Levit would not stop using big fancy words that no one comprehends.Especially for 1st year students, attending his class is a torture that makes students' lives more miserable. If he can speak slower w/ normal vocabulary and stop pretending he's writing a book / sth, that would be better!

he is lazy, ridicously lazy that he leaves all the marking for his TA's. He hates meeting up with his students.

Interested in Levit's 2 hour lectures? Prepare for a ride of confusion. Material is very hard for a first year class and the marking is really harsh and unfair totally depending on which TA you get.If you are not planning to get into the architecture program it is not a good idea to take it.

Great prof, explains things well and his tests properly test the material. His vocabulary is enriched which is fantastic, I wouldn't want him to speak like the joe schmoe sitting beside me. Keep up the good work.

Everything he says is needlessly verbose. He used the term "zoomorphical folly" to describe a building that looked like a face. Instead of perhaps just saying, "it looks like a face". He says comparable things all the time. Complete

He is a good professor. The only problem is that he makes use of tough vocabulary (which in a sense is good, because we are here to learn) which makes taking notes extremely difficult. It would be very helpful if he would post lecture notes as well.

Doesn't want to spend time with students. And doesn't know how to help them with design problems specific to your own project. He would rather direct you to do what he wants.
