"If you don't read EACH chapter THREE times before the test, you won't get above an 80." He's not lying, his tests are extremely hard and you learn 20 chapters in 3 short months. Your saving grace will be the MindTap homeworks and the business plan. Really passionate marketing guy, really hard professor.

Weird dude. Does not explain at all what he wants for the business plan and then takes off points for things he never told you to do. Lies about test averages. Pay attention in class - he goes over stuff that will be on the test. Focus on what's in your notes for the tests. Make sure to do all the mindtaps.

He is so boring and scatterbrained he makes his tests harder than they need to be and claims that you have to read the textbook 5 times in order to get a B he doesnt teach and is kind of ignorant and thinks that no one studies and has no sympathy for people. He is super confusing and his tests suck.

Terrible organization of the class. You have homework due online for chapters you won't cover until another 4 weeks in class and the tests are ridiculously hard. This class seems like it's designed to stroke the professors ego, given the material is fairly easy he just makes it ridiculously hard so he feels important.

4 week class. 2 tests (m/c & t/f 70 to 75 questions in 60 minutes). 1 cumulative final on all 16 chapters (75 questions m/c & t/f in 60 minutes) Assignments are pretty easy. 1 20q quiz per chapter & 2 to 4 assignments for each chapter (takes 1-3 hrs a day). 5 to 6 chapters per week all assignments & quizzes due on Sunday. Can work at your own pace.

Nice guy, a bit strange. He is not a very good professor and the tests questions are not fair. I have a 3.9 gpa and I got a B+ in his class so just try your best if you end up getting him for 300.

He is a nice person but a not very good professor. His tests are extremely difficult. Try to do well on the online quizzes, and the BP that's the only thing that can help you have a decent grade in this class.

If you are unfortunate to have him for your COB 300 marketing class, JUST CHANGE MAJORS NOW! He is by far, the worst professor I have ever taken. He will tell you to study a certain part of the material, and test on the complete opposite. To make it worse, he took a class in grad school about formatting exams which are ridiculously hard. Good luck!

Tells you the average for the class will be a B but really it will be closer to a C. Wastes time in class talking about his own stocks along with other pointless things and will put random stuff on tests hes never talked about. Not a good marketing teacher for 300 but i'm not sure about other classes. good guy, sub par teacher.

Chill dude who does the ABSOLUTE minimum necessary for being a professor here. Really disappointing considering he's in the 300 program which is supposed to be highly lauded and praised. Basically is a shill for Pearson, has you do outside homework and uses a test bank that he "swears" he changes every semester. Tries to be funny, mostly is lost

He's helpful, approachable and uses lots of real life examples. The textbook is a must have and you MUST read it in order to do well. His online quizzes and homework assignments build up, but put your main focus on the tests. He will also grill you on the business plan so have your marketing portion of the plan looked over. Otherwise great.

You will need to rely heavily on the book for this class. Lectures can be helpful, but often are fast paced or off-topic. The course is very manageable if you study hard. He always has a review lecture before the exam so take advantage of this and ask questions / make a study guide! Online quizzes add up so make sure to do well on all of them.

Mcmillen is a chill dude, but not the best professor. Always kept class interesting and lively but got off topic a lot and that came back to hurt you. Sometimes gave inconsistent information that conflicted with the book. Read the book and you'll be fine. He can be helpful with your business plan.

He is funny, nice, and makes lecture fun, but by getting completely off topic for a large portion of the time. He lectures in a direct, laid back, nonchalant style, but then his tests are really eloquently written with lots of jargon, so read the book because I have a feeling many of the questions come from it. Hes a bit awkward, but its humourous.

Really awkward when he tries to be cool/funny to the detriment of the course. Contradicts himself/the text during lecture and when called out on it gets really embarrassed/defensive. His quiz/exam questions are poorly written and often have several or no correct answers, which you can and should dispute with him later (I usually got points back).

A pretty good professor. Easy to talk to and helpful during office hours. Tests are very easy if you know the definitions. He really works with the students. Attendance is not even necessary most of the time, he gives quizzes that help alot, no homework. Takes the business plan very seriously though.

Classes are steered off topic and you never get to the topics that are suppose to be covered on the test but says which pages from the book are on the test, study hard with a group b4 the test. Quiz questions used multiple times look over them. Helpful with the b-plan but make sure you ask him to be specific in his recommendations and what he wants

A nice enough guy, but kind of too busy trying to be funny and cool (neither of which he succeeds at) to get students interested in the material or teach anything. I'd actually feel bad for him except for he's kind of full of himself to boot. Very little value in the class except for what can be learned from the book.
