I had him first year. His passion combined with immense acedmic knowledge is superb! And for me, he provided lots of practical advice(ex: apply for the hons, MA, etc).Honestly the reason I chose to go on with English. I'm an educator today. I really wished I 'd thanked him...Perhaps I owe him a letter?

I consider it one of the tragedies of my university career that I only got to take *one* course from Dr. Morrison. His enthusiasm for literature was totally infectious and I found myself becoming smitten with Wordsworth and his cronies the more I listened. Totally willing to accept differing opinions, IF you could back them up. In short, an A+!

very intelligent. very interesting. if you have a chance at queens take his courses. The best english prof I have ever met. Expects perfection but you can never be perfect. Wants you to always improve in the process of learning. Great life lessons for life after school

Proved to be the worst professor of my undergraduate schooling. If you must take one of his courses, be warned: missing a class brings out his vindictive core. Bizarre, given the vacuity of class discussions. Extremely pretentious and hostile. A glib bore

Great prof that's willing to accept other viewpoints so long as you can back yourself up. Skipping his lectures is suicide, mainly class discussion with little notes. Good-Luck at Queen's.
