Took him for an 8 wk class online. Fairly easy. I definitely recommend the book if you want an A in the class, unless you are good in history. If you don't care to get an A and just want to pass, you won't need the book. Discussions are very important they will boost your average if you participate. Two papers due, topics easy easy.

Took his class spring 2017 as an 8 week course. The content was a lot for such a short span but I expected that in taking an 8 week history class. You 110% will need the book. There were 2 papers that were short and sweet and 4 tests and a discussion grade. He posted a weekly discussion topic so stay on those, they do count toward your grade!

The time allocated for each unit test is too short (60minutes for 50 questions) and Final exam (30minutes for 25 question). One can't go back to previously answered question, and therefore, no chance to double-check your answers before submission. He does give good score for paper 1 & 2 if you submit on time. This is my worst course so far.

Took this dude's class online. Apparently he's really "great and awesome," that might be true for those that have his class in person. However, if you take him online, that is far from the truth. He is confusing and unclear in emails. I've reached out to him for clarification, I get one worded replies. Also, discussion questions are hard to answer.

Mr. Nottabart is great in person. He explains things in everyday English and relates it to current issues that make History easy to understand. He tells things the way they are and will explain questions when asked. His online is good too, but learned much more in a physical classroom. Take him!

I had him for HIST 1301-1302. He's not really involved at all. You have 1 essay and test per week in summer. Essays are pretty easy to write. For tests, use Google and read the notes under course content. I made an A, and I didn't crack the book.

Online class is fairly easy. Make sure to do all the discussion and essays. Essay are really easy. Do not turn in things late. He will give an exception sometimes. Test are super hard and are irrelevant to the notes he gives. Overall, received a decent grade in the class.

i took him at the sugarland campus as the winter mini! only 12 days and he know's his stuff. Be sure to argue good points in class with him. Extra points and time flies by, once you get him started on a subject that he's passionate about.

Had him for video course during the spring, 04. The tests were questions that were directly taken from the study guide. (almost makes me think the class is for his athletes.)
