Dont Be late to class or you won't get in. Don't go to class hung over or tired, you'll fall asleep. Not difficult to do well though. It's a hard subject to make entertaining, and he certainly does not. Says God Damn alot though, which is awesome.

Urgh. Make sure he likes you - if not, he'll peg you for life. I have had 3 classes with him (unfortunately) and though I worked hard, I could not get the marks I wanted. Boring and not easy to approach. Disappointing.

He's easy as long as you follow his exercises. Explains really well in class--very clear. I found the pace a little slow. Take the time to do assignments and then you'll do great on the tests which are A LOT like his tests. He'll often give clues in class as to what's on the test/exam.

Bob is one of the most dullest profs I have ever had. His classes are hard to sit through..I would advise you to stay away from his 8:30's!! Although he is very dry, boring and monotonous, his class was the easiest class I have ever taken!! His exams are extrememly long and you hardly have enough time to finish....but they are easy!

Ughhh I found his humour to be grotesque for the most part and only occasionally funny. He was arrogant and unhelpful for the most part, his notes are OK - I didn't really like him. His tests are long which sucks and he prides himself on that. I would avoid if I could =-) hope this helps

His notes are far better than any books, but expect to work; he doesn't have time for those who aren't willing to try. While his voice is monotonous, dry would be a far better description than boring. Nice guy with a great sense of humour.

Other reviews have it all wrong, ORourke is an excellent prof, he's dry, not boring. He reminds me a lot of principal Skinner from the Simpsons, but he makes fun of accountants, economists, and all sorts of stuff and he does his best to make stats cool.
