He is a very helpful, outgoing professor. BUT, this is a difficult course! Attending class is essential;his lectures are fast, and the slides are not very helpful, so you have to listen. And the marking scheme sucks! Online tests, midterm and exam. Exam was difficult and long. I would not recommend this course if you are looking for an easy mark!

Not a bad professor, but he does talk too fast and his slides aren't too helpful if you get lost when he is talking. His marking scheme does suck. If he taught a class I really wanted to take I would probably take it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to take a course he taught.

Amazing prof. Covers a lot of material in class, but does it in a way that is extremely interesting and easy to follow, making note taking very easy. The exams are difficult only if you are not prepared, but are always challening in a good way. Always available outside of class for help/discussion. A very inspiring individual.

Park's lectures are clear. If you're a cultural anth student, you might not enjoy 233 that much tho. it's mostly on material culture such as hunting impliments, he only got to culture for about 1/3 of the course. readings were interesting. does podcasts of lectures if you miss class.

Loved this class even though I had no interest in the subject before I took it. Park is so passionate about his work and this passion is infectious. My only prof crush! He's hot in a quiet way.

Hard marker? Yes. For those of you who say he talks too fast, get some note taking skills. Anyone who can't follow his lectures clearly has been coddled in high school and in other departments. The man is clear, concise, and gets the information across. My lowest mark in Uni is from him, mostly because he demands performance. A fine professor.

Dr. Park always does his best to make things clear and simple in lectures. I usually find his tests to be challenging, but not impossible by any means. You need to work hard to earn a good grade in Park's classes. He's extremely helpful and friendly outside of class; he's such a good listener that you'll find it difficult to stop talking!

He gives interesting lectures and as far as I can tell, hes a nice guy, but his exams are impossible. I just got back from one and I got killed. I studied hard too. If you can help it, I'd recommend staying away from his classes unless you absorb piles random in formation like a sponge.
