Bob Ramsey was my Comm prof fin early 70s. He was a great teacher, kind heart, who knew his stuff. I see the last entry was 2007, so he may no longer teach, but if he is, I highly recommend him. I have a Ph.D. now & have taught 30 years and teach 1,000 miles away. Bob was GREAT! - Dr. Richard Stafford

He is a nice guy. Mixes his lecture with video clips so he tries to keep it interesting. A lot of the test questions come from the online quizzes, so be aware. Test are somewhat difficult. But read the material and you will be alright.

Great Teacher! He's funny to me and didn't seem boring at all shows movies from time to time. Sounds like he really knows what he's doing, everything on the test comes right off the review. Just show up and study before the test and you should make an A

I have really enjoyed this class, as long as you do the online quizes and review you'll be fine even if you dont attend class, but i reccomend attending if communications is your major because it teaches you alot about the field

Very easy class. Don't even really have to go to class. Just do the reviews, and you'll be fine. Quizzes are online and you can use the book. He is really nice and seems to really enjoy teaching. Tests are EASY as long as you do the review. Most of the questions are on the test word-for-word!

I hated this class!! I felt that the lectures were a complete waste of time and learned nothing throughout the semester. I would strongly advise taking another teacher for this class because you'll kick yourself if you takie it with ramsey!!

This class is easy if you do the work. The quizzes online are easy if you use your book and the tests are not too terrible if you do the review and study for it. None of his lecture (or hardly any) is on the test so you don't have to go to class.. but it sometimes helps. Tests can be confusing tho..

He's the only teacher for Com 101. His tests do not come from the lecture...it's not even worth going really. Everything you need to know comes STRAIGHT from the book. And make sure you do the reviews bc they ARE like the tests. Very sweet and helpful!
