Comment:

The tests are pretty straightforward however because he does not teach well, it really does not motivate me to do well or work hard for the class. I learned absolutely nothing valuable. He is also unorganized and vague, I do not trust his word as he loses track of assignments and tests a lot. His grading is also unclear. I am very disappointed

Comment:

Worst professor I have had at LMU. He is a sweet man and means well but he is clueless and should return to retirement. He is forgetful and it takes him about 20 minutes to give 5 minutes worth of information. You are better off teaching yourself everything from the book. I have never been more disappointed with a member of the LMU academic staff.

Singleton is the nicest guy in the world. He is unorganized, but he has a lot to share and is really intelligent, the dude was on Oprah. Definitely a class worth taking, if you have any questions go talk to him and he will do anything to help

Take this class. Midterm and Final are projects in which you use the computer and class material. He gives you a study guide with the guidelines and what he expects in the projects. Follow and you will do fine. 1-2 page analysis of every chapter and a group presentation on a chapter from the book. Do all of this and you will get a good grade.

Had in Spring 2011. Class seemed interesting when I heard about it, but it was a disaster when I was there. Professor really didnt know what he was doing with the software and there was constant problems. Most of the time class went to listen to politics lectures. He is a nice person, but he really shouldn't be teaching especially a computer class.

He's a really nice guy but his class bores people to death. He gets confused by his own lecture and isn't really aware of what's happening around him. The class was a waste of time and the tests were kinda hard, but he curves them like crazy so people will pass.

Professor Singelton means well, but he really does not make ANY sense. I really wish that I could focus, but I just go on facebook the entire hour and 15 minutes. I do NOT recommend this teacher, as nice as he is. You will not leave this class with knowledge of Economics. :/

Singleton is a really nice guy and means well, but his class is hard to attend just because he'll talk the WHOLE time, not asking much from the class, thus making it really boring. He cracks jokes once in awhile, which are pretty funny, actually.

I went to every class at 8am and I think everyone in his class could agree they didn't understand anything he was saying. If you want to do well in this class hire a tutor or teach yourself in the book cause he certainly does not help. Your grade is only based on a midterm, final, 10% participation and thats it. The tests are pretty hard.

He is a very nice guy who knows the material but has a hard time conveying it. Lectures are boring and class is confusing a lot. He makes hard tests that most do bad on but there is usually a curve or extra credit. No attendance required. 1 test, 1 midterm, 1 final, participation--that's about it.
