Trogdon is amazing. Show up, listen to him, read the book, take notes, underline ANY passage he reads out loud and take notes on it, and remember what he says about the stories, and you will do beautifully. He is easily the best teacher I've ever had. I'm changing majors and I'll probably still take his courses.

Had him for Lit in Eng I. You can't not love him! He loves making fun of students but it's all for fun. Keeps things interesting. Very knowledgeable and makes lots of media references. Although it may seem like he's joking around all the time, his passion for literature is apparent and he has a genuine concern for people.

Great professor, explains everything in great detail. If you attend class, you will be fine. Papers are pretty hard to get A's on, but I ended with an A in the class anyway. Very funny guy!

Professor Trogdon is the best professor I've ever had. He makes the stories, which can be incredibly boring or hard to understand, loads of fun. He explains them so well, and the quizzes are incredibly easy if you read the pages. Such an easy and fun class!

Dr. Trogdon is very knowledgable in his field. If you are taking a senior seminar with him I would work really hard because he grades hard. He expects a lot out of his classes. I didn't like how he had his favorites, it got annoying after awhile. Sometimes he thinks he's the cat's meow, which gets annoying too.

Trog, as I like to call him is the best professor. He is extremly passionate and intelligent which comes out in his lessons. He is easy to get ahold of and always helpful. I'd reccomend him to anyone.

A big fave with a lot of students - Can't say the same, but he IS a very good prof. One of the foremost experts on Hemingway, and always willing to discuss him with you. Think my NC TARHEELS gear and snide "Colonel Sanders" comment rubbed him wrong. Very hard grader on written work. Expects your best!
