I took his class as a study abroad in Paris, unbelievably knowledgeable in Art history. He knew just about every painting in at least 13 museums in the Paris region. He's also an excellent artist.

3D art. he doesn't really pay attention to students. He wanders around the workshop and gives you unhelpful critique (it is art!), but he grades based on effort rather than talent which is great! And although his critiques can be odd(compared my final to a sex toy), once you earn his respect he stops questioning your techniques.

He's a really boring teacher who sometimes spends his time talking about himself than the subject. I think he takes attendance personally so make sure you come to class or it will hurt his ego (and your grade). He offers EC, but it take up time so make sure to plan ahead for that. I'm never taking him again and I hope he retires soon. :(

Mr. Walker is a very boring teacher, who spends most of the class talking about his personal life and beliefs. If the class only concentrated on art history, rather than his life history, it would be an hour a week instead of 3. Also, in his mind, all of art is about sex. It's really lame.

I think he is a really good professor. Some people called him boring, but I think that's just his speaking tone. I thought he made the class rather interesting. He REALLY knows his stuff. I found the history he gives about each work and artist to be really interesting and helpful. Class wasn't too hard either - he gives really good review sheets.

I only missed two days of class(both were excused), I completed all my assignments on time and did a god job on them, and yet he gave me a B. This professor is awful, and he teaches you nothing the entire time. He will help you out a bit, that that's about all he does. I would have had a 4.0 GPA if it weren't for him. =(

3D Design is a true studio class. Robert doesn't do much teaching, but he's totally there for you if you need help. Put in your 6 hours a week (attendance is HUGE) working on projects during class, and you will rarely need to do anything outside of class. He grades on your work ethic rather than on how impressive your finished projects are.

Projects were stimulating and the time alotment for each was generous. Expect some extra expentures on materials. Attendance is necessary to prove that you are not paying your little brother to do the work. He grades on effort, craftmentship, and ingenuity but not how good the project is or whether he favors it. Otherwise, a very relaxed class.

Horrible teacher. never lectures, never helps you out. Our class was taught with another class, and he would spend all his time in the other room with the more advanced class. even though we are never taught anything by being in class, he will lower your grade if you are absent, even though most of the projects dont require being in the classroom-F

Great teacher who knows his stuff and really cares about art! His online course is really interesting. He asks challenging questions that make you actually think about art. Read the book and take the online quizzes, don't flake on the weekly topics and you'll be fine. It helps a lot to be a good writer (for the weekly essary questions and papers.)
