Dr. Pratt is honestly my favorite professor at SVSU. He is extremely helpful, and he is there to help you become a better teacher. Yes, he is a tad bit picky but I have really enjoyed being in his classes. Definitely a professor you should take a class with.

Dr.Bob is one of the best teachers at SVSU. Some say he's nice some say he's mean. If you put in the work and effort, he's going to love you. If you are lazy and do work half assed, he's not going to like you. He is going to push you to become the best teacher, coach you can be, if you don't want that pick a new career.

Okay so class is so pointless and boring, you sit there and go over all the assignments instead of learning something about teaching. If it wasn't for the 80 hours of observation, I wouldn't of learned a thing. As for the assignment those are pointless as well. Yes this is a 1 credit class, but it's not easy, you have to work at it. Not impressed!!

Dr. Pratt is an amazing professor. I loved his class, his lectures were short and to the point and we got out early all the time. The exams are very straight forward. If your going into education, he is your guy for all the questions, he's very helpful and really wants his students. Great Professor!!

TE100 should be like a 4 credit class. The assignments are tedious BUT they are overexplained and impossible to mess up. He was very helpful and the rest of the staff was too. Lot of work for one credit but it has to be done to get into the Education program.

I would just like to say that TE 100 should be worth more than a one credit class. You are not only putting in 80 hours of your own time outside of class, but you're also writing all these long, tedious papers throughout the semester. Pratt was demanding, rude, and even said you should be skipping class for TE 100. Rude. Did not like him at all.

Very easy and well organized class. However, I agree with previous postings on here. This guy is egotistical, arrogant, and will demean you if you disagree with him. He thinks he is the coolest thing on campus when really he is not. He also needs to buy some new clothes instead of always wearing the same sweater vest!

TE 100 is a class where there is a lot of work, despite only being one credit. Dr. Pratt is enthusiastic, interesting, and never boring. Great Prof! If you are seriously interested in teaching, this guy will inspire you! No textbook was needed for the class. However, buy a one-inch blinder with some page protector sheets. You'll want them!

Best Professor I've ever had at SVSU. He makes class fun to go to. He does make you work for your grade but if you show up and do your work you'll be fine. Not much homework we just had to put together a sports book.. GREAT PROFESSOR TAKE HIS CLASSES!!!!!

Dr. Pratt is a must have teacher! He will inspire you to follow your dreams in the teaching career. I had Dr. Pratt 6 times as a professor in different classes. He does tend to make fun of students, so make sure you stand up for yourself and let him know if anything bothers you...don't let things go. He will respect you more if you speak up.

Had him as a professor for TE 100 and he was WONDERFUL. He makes learning fun and is always excited to be there. I also use him for help in the college of education and he is the MOST helpful person I have ever encountered. He will stop what he is doing to help you if you need it. WONDERFUL person and teacher :)
