Professor Sabin is a great teacher. I will gladly take one of her classes. Her grading is tough but fair. She does assign a lot of work, but the work is fulfilling and you learn. If you want to slide through your CS degree, don't take her classes. But, if you want to really learn and understand, then she's a great professor.

Excessive amounts of work, grades homework for correctness (defeating the entire point of homework), always goes over allowcated class time, frequently gives time consuming projects, loves giving quizzes and tests on material she does a terrible job teaching, rubs things in your face, picks favorites, harsh grader (marks off for stupid crap). Bad.

Her attitude is very uplifting. She knows what she's talking about. The only problem is she seems to assume that you know everything as well. She's willing to help if you need it though. Moderate work load. Book work is usually tedious, but the Programming Assignments can be fun.

absolutely HORRIBLE teacher...if u can avoid this class you're lucky...she expects you to know so much about programming already when 99% of my class has never seen anything like this before...tries to act nice, has favorites, quizzes and tests are hard...stay AWAY!!!!
