She is a nice person, but a not so great teacher. I learned way more about her children, her issues with HUD, and her issues with the doctors than I did Anthropology. Would have preferred a professor who was more on topic than Ms. Hicks. I did not do well in this class, and I was hoping to enjoy it. Read your textbook and do extra-credit in class.

She tries way too hard to be hip, but she poses it as being "cultural" and "professional." The mixture of the boring class presentations and traumatic life stories create many a painful moments. Needs help in many facets of her life.

I love art, unfortunately i think that if i had a different ahs professor, i could have learned more. The take home tests were nice. She definitely talked about sex way too much and gave more information than i wanted to know about her daughter.

She's a little crazy and she has lots of stories about her kids, but the class is more fun than most. Homework assignments are not dificult and exams are kind of tough but you get to take them home. Best option for art history.
