Her class is so easy its so hard not to get an A! sometimes she gets sidetracked with stories but other than that all that really matters is attendance and you're set! Such a good professor and could potentially be a good mentor. She overall cares for her students. Made my 1st year at SFSU feel good.

BY FAR the best comm teacher at state. I looked forward to her class every morning. She gets everyone involved and motivated, truly inspires you without making speeches nerve wracking. Shes hilarious too. I would recommend her class to anyone. She grades easy while still teaching you everything to make you a successful speaker. Love her!

Great teacher. I thought I was going to write so many essays that I'd fail, but apparently, it wasn't the case. It was more fun, in terms of groupwork. Just one speech as the final speech, and at the end watched a great interesting movie. She's such a great, caring teacher. You'll get an A just for showing up. I did. Take her!

i hate public speaking with a passion, but it wasn't so bad with Roe. you hardly do anything in her class. she does check attendance though. you make few speeches and they're not so bad. you do a lot of group work so by the end of the semester you get comfortable with speaking in front of the class. dream job speech can be pretty fun.

She does not allow note taking. All you have to do is show up and do the speeches/activities and you're guaranteed and A. Be creative in speeches (she likes that) and you don't need the book. No final/tests ever. Very sweet/caring woman. Her lectures apply to life; Just good advice from someone with experience.

Roe is so great! She's a great teacher and a great person. She always brightened my day up and I always always motivated to go to her class. The speeches were really easy and they were all about stuff you knew. She doesn't even teach by the book, she helps you open up more and helps you become a better person. Also, lots of emails about internships

roe is the best! she can get a little crazy but shes super nice and understanding, and she actually cares about her students. shes really into her job and her class is always interesting. there are only 3 speeches and you really should go to class so your grade wont go down. but seriously you wont regret having her as a professor for comm. :)

Roe Gallo is the best professor at SFSU. She truly and genuinely cares for her students. She is very inspiring and motivating. She not only helps with comm skills, but also with life in general. TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU WONT REGRET IT. BEST COMM 150 for all you trying to register for GE!!!! BEST GE CLASS! Oh and she's HOT.

By far, one of the best teachers at SF State. She is very inspiring. No homework whatsoever. 2 speeches through the whole semester and only 1 was graded. Attendance is mandatory but it is a fun class. You watch a movie at the end of the semester. Highly recommend this class! She's great!

Best comm professor ever! Super sweet, helpful, and caring. She creates a comfortable environment for public speaking. We don't do any hw, just two speechs and a group skit. Really easy, just show up and if you run into trouble talk to her. Roe genuinely cares for her students and is always so fun and entertaining.
