The best professor I have ever had. I absolutely loved him. He has a great teaching style and is very easy to get along with. He'll pick on you but its always in a fun and kind way. He is the best one to take economics with and I wouldnt have rather had anyone else!! It was a great semester!!!

I love Addy! He's such a sweet man with a true passion for econ. Very understanding guy who answers questions carefully and thoroughly. The tests are not too difficult if you study and he always goes over questions afterward to clear up confusion. He adjusts to class's optimum pace and wants you to learn. Great guy - def recommended!

ECON is so boring, its going to be no matter who you take. Adkins makes it as bearable as possible. If you are an econ major- TAKE HIM! he is soo smart and explains things so well! if you are NOT an econ major STILLTAKE HIM! I hate econ (everything about it) I got an A in his class by doing a little bit of studying and the EXTRA CREDIT

Had him for 4 or 5 of my undergrad classes. He was one of the reasons econ was my major. Dr. Adkins is THE best teacher I have ever had. He makes econ interesting and makes class enjoyable. Great guy, great sense of humor, and most of all very intelligent.

Prof. Adkins is perhaps the best pure teacher at Marshall. Had him for 3 different classes, and almost switched majors to Econ because of him. You will need to work, but you will love his class and you will learn from him. He loves teaching and it shows. Take him before he retires for anything you can! Oh, and send him e-mails...he likes that!

Everyone loves Prof. Adkins. Take him for anything you can, thats what almost everyone in the class did. If you arent interested in Economic History when you start you will be when you are finished. He's one of the good ones.

probably the best professor I've had at MU. I used to dispise everything about economics until I had Adkins. Now I'm minoring in econ because of him! He's very helpful! For tests you should go to class and read the book.

Class was quite interesting for an Economics course. Tests were quite easy and he goes over everything the class before the test. Hes fun and makes this 50 minutes bearable. Take Him!!
