Comment:

At first, some of the material is dense and hard to understand. But after a while, it all starts to come together. His lectures are pretty informational as his slides don't always necessarily have everything he talks about. So although it is important to go to lecture, I wouldn't say attendance is 100% mandatory.

This class is a lot of work for a second year course but it definitely challenges the way you look at the environments around you. Roger is very passionate and tends to get caught up in his own lectures but is willing to take the time to answer questions and meet with students for guidance.

Roger was a good prof who definitely knew what he was talking about. During the year I had him, he and sometimes his teaching team would go on practical trips, studying urban environments and he'd return to relay the information he gathered to us. He's a very smart and respectable man.

Great speaker, incredibly smart, and is the type of professor you'd expect at the University level. Everything he says is worth writing down and he makes great connections to some abstract theories and concepts from the readings. Intimidating? No, he constantly encourages questions and opinions. And do the readings! How else will you learn things?

Fantastic professor. Inspiring, intelligent, helpful and friendly. He is one of the few professor who is capable of being inspiring. He really helped me out with my perspective of university and as well as my perspective on life. Really grateful for him.

Was an excellent professor. Well read, always willing to go out of his way to help students. His classes could have been a bit more exciting, if movies etc were added. Also, a bit too theoritical at times. However, he was a nice guy and not too bad to look at. The eye candy was worth the trip to class, even if the politics course was hard!

I concur, full of himself. Be warned that he is not willing to help everyone with a problem. I went to him when I was an undergrad and he was the undergrad advisor. He gave me minor assistance and then snubbed me when I returned later for more guidance.
