You don't have to go to class if you are willing to read the text book. His lecture's are boring but if you take notes, you will have all the info you need for the test. He practically gives you the test ahead of time. You don't have to go to the movie screenings, but there are usually one or two questions on the test about them. Take him.

breaks his only rule of not being boring. takes and hour to explain what should only take about 20 minutes. expect you to be a wonderful speaker; he has to remember this is a beginers class. i think he refuses to give out A's. not to hard but if you can avoid it, don't take him.

Great professor and advisor. Wallace is tremendously helpful and is the resident expert on all things radio and broadcast in the Comm department. His lectures can be long winded, but there are no surprises on his tests and he is always there to fully explain anything that may have been unclear. Being a radio student, hes prob my fav prof here.

Class grade consists entirely of a mid-term and a final (plus an extra project if you opt to do one). The textbook is AMAZING and Dr. Wallace is a very sincere and helpful professor. However, he tends to be long-winded and takes an hour and 15 minutes to cover what he could have in 15. The class is unfortunately not at all interactive.
