This is one of the worst courses I've taken at Queen's. So incredibly boring and Roger Ware is just as boring. The textbook sucks, going to class isn't all that helpful as he just reads off of his slides, and overall just a poorly constructed course. Take something harder cause I guarantee it'll be more enjoyable

Unclear class presentation which does not correspond with the textbook (The textbook was written by Roger Ware...). Final exam tends to have material that has NEVER been covered in his class, and the final is 80% of the overall grade. Horrific professor, doesn't care about students, no help. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE!

Professor Ware is truly an expert at what he does. I very much enjoy his classes because it is a wonderful combination of theory and application - theory of the firm at its finest! Not a particularly well-organised professor, as he always seems busy with other things, but as long as you clarify with him any confusion, you will be fine!

Good prof, highly knowledgeable about the subject and has considerable real world experience in it. The only issue with him is that his office hours are never regular and he is virtually incapable of responding to emails.

Wicked guy, knows his****, and is apparently really famous, his book was sold out all over the world, so it was hard gettin a copy from other sources. Wicked guy, and generally cares for his students. Midterm and Final rather easy! Everybody should take this 4th yr course, the easiest by far!

One of the few economics courses I've taken that have actually been interesting AND practical! The assignments and midterm have been reasonly easy so far, and Roger is pretty clear and helpful most of the time. Definitely a good course, with a good prof.

This is a great course. Roger seems a bit scattered at times, but he'll do what he can to answer your questions. This is the first peactical econ course I've taken at this school. The final exam is worth too much though.
