So boring and mostly about theories of crime. Test aren't too bad but the SPARK quizzes can be tricky. Most of the time only about 20-30 people showed up out of 200+ people in the course. Essays are graded very hard and going for help was useless.

Now hear me out. This guy is a nice guy and he seems to be trying to teach but there is no rhyme or reason to his method. His lectures are circular and he has a hard time hearing. I will give him my best as a student but if this is your world then do not take this class(O'Keefe's is way better). The lectures are almost painful to sit through.

I fall asleep during the lectures. However, the class is very, very easy, and Prof. Chilton is probably the single nicest person I have ever seen. Ever. He's just a genuinely good guy, and while he tends to repeat a lot of the same info, the tests are on the slides (and are wicked easy). Take it for the A, and because Prof. Chilton is awesome.

Seems like a really good guy at heart, and wants you to succeed but the class is really really really boring. topics could be really interesting but theres hardly any participation or discussion. real life examples would be good....anything to liven up the class.

Have only been to 4 classes this semester, boring boring class, it may sound interesting by the course description but if you have trouble sleeping sit thru this class and you will fall into a deep sleep of boredom. It pains my body to sit thru a full class, nice professor though.

this man is old. and boring. hes adorable so you will be able to tolerate the first two classes, but after that it all goes downhill. tests are ridiculous, nothing to do with lectures (if you can manage sitting through them). and to do well on the tests, i recommend memorizing the text.

really nice man but by far the worst class I have taken in college- SO boring, after the first week no one shows up. exams are bs, and absolutely none of the notes discussed in class relate to the assigned reading. do NOT take this class if you can avoid it. if you do, plan to study a LOT for the exams.

Worst professor EVER! Tests are total crap, grading is subjective, and his TAs aren't even Sociology majors! Teaches Criminology as a theory based subject, and refuses to accept the ideas and opinions that run counter to his own.
