Comment:
Taking this course in 2015 and uses multiple textbooks. Incorporates writing professional lab reports that require precise accuracy (ie. proper decimal placing, punctuation, correct use of terminology, etc). Conceptually the statistics is much harder than STAT202 and is more of a MATH 300-course. Overall, it was statistically significant.

He doesn't seem confident in his teaching of 350, which is unfortunate because I've heard he's amazing for other course (eg. BIOL 361). He's a genuinely nice and smart guy, but I don't think 350 is the right course for him. Tests are very fair, assignments are unrelated and a real pain.

Hard to stay attentive in class. Assignments were not very relevant to course material and gave no guidance.

Very reasonable and helpful. Because of the course nature (statistics) some people might find it very boring, but in fact, he tries his best to keep it interested and fun learning experience. Very kind and decent professor, and tries to communicate with student, although he seems to be very busy.

Very poor. Nice guy, but very boring class. Entire coursework was designed around writing reports, not statistics.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. It was taught very well (a little dry at times) and the textbook was probably the most helpful one I have read in school thus far. As long as you understand the concepts and apply them to experiments you will do well.

This is not a bird course, unless you're really willing to dedicate a lot of time into memorizing detailed, boring information. The final exam was pretty challenging (compared to the midterm). To do well, go to the lectures, also read the book, and DETAIL!! Course may be helpful for MCAT verbal.

The most boring prof ever. I like the course, he taught it well, but the man is so boring. Anyone whose had him will tell you not to go to class if your tired because your guaranteed to pass out. The notes were very clear and made up for any lack of interest you may have in the class. Good course!!

Amazing Professor, although his lectures were dry his notes helped alot. Pretty much just skim over the chapters and study his notes and you will do very well in this course. Prof Hall is extremely helpful and kind when approached so don't be scared to ask him questions.
