Awwwwful teacher. He is totally unclear about what he wants and expects you to know everything. All the assignments aren't relative to the class at all. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't recommend him at all unless you like teachers that are completely mental and don't know what they're doing.

His class was easy when he went over it in class, but near impossible when it came to tests. The group work was very VERY time consuming and it felt like he thought no other class was important but his. The only thing that saved my A in the class was the daily class preps, attendance, and homeworks. Good luck if you have to take one of his classes.

I loved him personally. He was a great teacher in my book. I would reccommend taking him. If you do not understand the work, then go to his office and he will explain it in more details. I don't think he that hard of a teacher. He might confuse you sometimes but if you ask questions you will understan.

I will never make the mistake of choosing this professor again. At first he came off as a nice, friendly person, but soon turned into a crazy, ruthless professor. He never teaches in class, but instead complains about how we never know what to do when he never ever teaches. Horrible experience, most boring class ever

I've taken this professor for two different courses.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Yes, he is very friendly, but that doesn't matter since the majority of the class is failing. Tough grader, goes on tangents, tries to help but ends up not. This is his first year teaching this course.

A lot of work for a class that needs to be better organized. Homework comes from multiple sources so it's often difficult to tell what's due when. Also often teaches differently from the book so clarity can only be achieved by talking to the teacher. Professor is very enthusiastic about the material and is willing to help all the time.

Avoid this professor at all costs. He is very vague with all of his instructions, and what he goes over in class is absolutely nothing like his exams. I also had him for CIMS 170, and he was just as bad there. Overall, he is an awful professor and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Class was extremely boring but he loves what he does... Even though he has an extremely hard time relating it to students. The trick is to study the online pretests prior to the tests. If you do, you'll get 100's every time. His assignments are stupid and pointless and very very confusing. Words everything weird. Hated the class.

McPherson is flat out a horrible teacher. This course was supposed to be about web design using javascript, however, we did not even start using javascript or the book till over halfway through the semester. Instead, he made us write three 100+ page reports (no joke) about websites made in frontpage. CIMS majors are stuck with him, unfortunately.

You won't understand some of his written directions-go to his office hours-you will be in his office for an hour most likely, cause he likes to talk. Class is easy. Very strict about quizes (which is like 1 simple question). You must bring 2 'quiz templates' every class. He makes people feel awkward. Makes mistakes with microsoft 07. dont need Book

I have him right now and have an A in his class, but DO NOT take him, it is really HARD!!! He doesn't answer your questions and there is alot of work. However the work is more real life and not by the book. He's a good man but not so good teacher. If you want to be Cims major take him u learn alot but for gen ed DONT!!!

He is very hard to keep up with in his lessons during class. You really need to pay attention in his class and really need to keep up with what he is showing you or else you will get so behind. Also when ever i ask him a question all he does is tells me to go into the computer lab and try and figure it out myself.
