this is a good class to take if you want an easy grade... he even lets you out early. my only gripe is his inside jokes tend to make his lectures unclear... and he also tends to give a lot of personal bias about Biblical characters (i.e. Jacob was a real big loser). BUT he is a really nice guy!

Take good notes, read the book, and you should be okay once you understand how his tests work. Also, make sure you go to class, the attendance policy is quite strict; 5% off for each absence after 2. Very dry sense of humor and tendency to repeat self, but a good guy.

Very nice man... sort of trials off at times and is a little hard of hearing. Class is very cut and dry--take good notes and read and no trickiness whatsoever. He sometimes says things that are odd but if you just follow the notes it is easy. Is his age catching up to him?? Hm. How old is he?

A good teacher. His sense of humor is a bit dry but I find it funny. The material is interesting. He's a bit dull, but I still find myself learning a lot from him. I had him for 101 as well as 102 and would take him for 301 one as well if I could. A good man and a good professor.

Tyler is awesome. As a grad student, it seemed that I appreciated more of his humor than some undergrads did. Tyler will make you work, but you'll never regret giving the effort. Absolutely wonderful instructor!
