Comment:

Some people know their stuff but can't teach. Ron is one of them. His lectures suck because every time you think he's going to make a point he goes on a tangent. He does repeat the important stuff over and over. Freaks out over "crackberries" so don't let him see you pull out your phone! Luckily doesnt mark too hard. Avoid this painful class.

Very knowledgable about the topic he teaches but he is not good at teaching it to others. All he does is talk for the whole class and provides no notes, it is very hard to know what it important while taking notes as he tends to be very long winded and goes on forever; often off topic.

Avoid Ronnie if at all possible! his class consists of lots of useless reading and lectures that are nearly impossible to follow. He doesn't mark very difficult but don't put yourself through the pain of his lectures.

One of the best professors at the uni, hands down. He expects that you know your arse from a hole in the ground, but rightfully so. If you're not interested in the global system in specific, or reality in general, then don't bother taking his class..or any university course that requires you to think independently. Keep on rocking, Ron!

Don;t take a class from this man. Summer class consisted of a reading pack and 2 textbooks, 2 midterms, a final, and a 12 page paper. Lectures are impossible to follow. I actually got better grades when I stopped attending class. Seems to mark alright, but my hand hurt after each and every test due to them all being essay based. Never again

Overall he was a poor professor, but seems quite smart. He can't stay on topic in lectures. On his exams there are many express your opinion questions. You can get through an exam knowing mostly theory from the textbooks and readings.

Listen to everyone else...do not take this class! I got a decent mark...but it is not worth the average boost. I took an hour and fifteen minute class from him...and spent most of the time trying not to fall asleep and contemplating which would hurt less stabbing a pen through my eye into my brain or sitting through the class.

Very unclear during lectures. Seems like an intellecutual man, but can not keep focus of class. He will bring up discussion questions and then never answer them. The readings are BORING and useless. He is also very unorganized and jumps from topic to topic. Avoid.

Angry, has an axe to grind with soc. dept., feminists, etc.Constantly tell us we're brainwashed.Forgets to bring notes to class.Patronizing.Doesn't seem to enjoy teaching at all.No discussion in class.Tries to impress you by being 'shocking' & talking about bestiality(?).Don't take his classes!

He has to be the worst teacher I've ever had. He made us buy three books then on top of that we had to photocopy about 40 bucks worth of useless crap. BORING, TERRIBLE marking scheme, 150 pages of reading per week. JUST TERRIBLE!
