I took Professor Dow for Criminal Justice 1 and 2. He was the best teacher I have ever had. He was always available in and out of class. He taught me to love the law and learning. I am now an attorney and college professor. Professor Dow started me on this path. Thank you Prof. Dow!!

I wasn't very interested in the Criminal Justice field until I took Criminal Law I, which ended up being my favorite class at HVCC. Fantastic teacher, one of the best--very clear, lively, and used extremely relevent & fun examples. Mr. Dow made this course very memorable, even years after taking it. We'll miss you very much Mr. Dow.

I had prof. Dow for crim law 1 and currently am taking him for law two. In my opinion his class was pretty easy assuming you had read what was assigned. He is very helpful, has a great sense of humor, knows his stuff, and overall is one of the best teachers I've ever had.

I love professor Dow! He's the most amazing teacher I've had yet. I'm so disappointed I've taken all the classes he teaches! yes, he's "hard" but as long as you do your reading, and STUDY your ass off for the tests, its amazing and you leave with so much knowledge you would never expect to get.

By far the best prof I have ever had. He has really got his stuff together, and has really perfected a teaching method to where you can totally understand what he is talking about. Its like he translates law into a language you can understand and real situations that you can apply to your own life
