This guy is a mother, Literally very helpful, he even cracks funny jokes, he is hilarious. Do not be intimidated and do your work. I got an easy A, piece of cake, and I can barely write. Oh! take the early morning class, I think he is a morning person.

This guy is such a jerk. He makes an otherwise enjoyable class intolerable, and really goes out of his way to just be mean. I don't know how he is still teaching. His own writing blows and half the class he spends just talking about his son. Avoid this professor at all costs!

honestly, dont take him, EVER. im a really good student & i work hard for my grades. i like learnin & doing stuff rite. HOW EVER, mr link is a pain in the ass. i got a C- after havin to take the final. attendance is mandatory, assignments are RIDIC. quizzes are hard. n nobody gets over a D in essays. BE SMART, DONT TAKE HIM

He is very strict, yet for all that, if you can succeed in his class, you can do anything. His assignments are all very tough and his grading is by far the hardest I've ever seen in my life. However, it teaches you how to write well. His class for for students who want to learn.

I won't lie, it's tough. But he does give chances and opportunities to succeed. Hardest teacher I've had by far in MDC. Almost dropped out of the class, good thing I didn't. If you want an easy English class and a cool teacher, don't take this one.

THIS PROFESSOR IS THE WORST ENGLISH PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! HE IS TOO MUCH OF A PERFECTIONIST. IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON AN ASSIGNMENT YOU GET A NO CREDIT EVEN IF YOUR ANSWER IS RIGHT. This professor is the most useless professor I have ever had. I learned almost nothing, and his grading is absolutely ridiculous. Out of the 35 students who started the class, only 10 passed and the best grade other than my A was a C. Do not take a class with this professor if you can avoid it!

Hardest english teacher ever! I studied for this class as much as I'm studying for Calculus! If you take him be prepared to cope with perfectionism. Don't expect a good grade on any Essay; it's simple impossible. Fall 2007, out of 30 something students only 13 finished the class, only one A-, one B-, everyone else C's, D's and F's!!!

Horrible. This guy taunts you if you get the material wrong and he makes you feel like a complete loser, he is not helpful if you dont understand. His hand writing is so horrible that you cant read his comments on your essays and you cant find out what you did wrong. The way he talks is loud and obnoxious. Attendance and tardiness is very strict.

I dont understand why people hate him so much!!! Its true that he is hard and expects everything to be perfect.But he is a good person , if you attend every class and make every effort to pass, then you will. If you like chalenges and you like to study , take him!!! You will leave the class knowing the material.
