Great professor and a good guy. Class consists of 10 lab assignments a midterm and a final. Labs are very easy and if you study the tests are easy also. I enjoyed his class. Highly recommended.

After taking DBase from Ron, I thought that since I needed an elective that I would take this class. He stated early and often that the class was not going to be easy and Dr. Lodewyck was correct. Everyone suggested that I get started early and get ahead and it help a lot. This helped on giving me the most time to finish my final project.

Take everything you can with him before he retires. without a doubt one of the top ten professors at CSUS. He cares individually about his students, calls them all by name. takes time to learn about you. More of a really good friend that can give you a grade than a professor.

Wonderful at explaining concepts which are sometimes difficult to grasp. Incredibly responsive to students. Genuinely cares about students and their success. Spends an incredible amount of time on the lecture materials. Really learned a lot.
