Took enviro chem. Easiest course ever, but you will end up learning a lot because he cares about the subject matter. No labs or assignments, just a few tests/exams - all of which you are allowed a cheat sheet for. Tells you in advance all the questions he will test you on. No reason to go to class except for Word of the Day. Easy 90. Recommend.

Love Doc Martin. Really cheery, helpful guy. His lectures are well paced and never too long. Wanders around the lecture hall and sits down beside "a person chosen entirely at random" Stops his lecture for "word of the day" and goes on lots of tangents but they're very amusing and he teaches the material very well. Great prof!

He's a funny and intelligent guy but his notes (overheads) are fairly useless. Ended most classes 20-30 mins early, which made attending class fairly useless.

Very nice, shares interesting facts about chemistry, and you can't go wrong with word of the day! My only thing is that I wish he went into more detail about why & how certain things are calculated, rather than just redoing the example that's clearly printed in his lecture notes.

excellent proff... he pretends to be initimidating, but don't worry, hes a really nice guy! Keeps class interesting and exams are definetely fair! Hint hint: make sure you do old practice exams! He is willing to help everyone individually. Very intelligent man, his "word of the day" proves hes more intellectual than a chem nerd.

Dr. Martin is an excellent professor! He really cares for students, (yes, even the not-so-intelligent ones). He's very humorous with his anecdotes and makes everyone think about the applications of Chem in the real world. He can really become passionate about 'Mother Earth'. A MUST HAVE PROF!
