Great professor. Makes difficult readings really accessible to students. Class is always interesting. Some of the assignments seem a bit random, but generally are helpful to understanding the texts. The final was in class, but he gave us the questions beforehand to prepare. Really fair professor and I learned a lot from his class.

Ronald is the man! He is so funny and really livens up the class. Sometimes the readings are really confusing and can seem like a lot, but he works to make sure that all of the students understand the material. The class is definitely not easy, but he makes it incredibly interesting; I wish I could take him for every Spanish class at Fordham!

Awesome professor; lots of great readings and Ronald gives amazing insight on the literature. He's spontaneous, interesting, and takes an interest in helping his students. The class requires dedication, time, and work, but if you put in the effort you will come out knowing a lot more spanish than you did before.

Really shows an interest in his students and in us understanding! one of the best professors Ive had. he is demanding but he is extremely dedicated! funny!!! great readings! great films! great class discussions. makes you feel safe speaking in a second language and he tells jokes and keeps the mood comfortable. take him!

Excellent!!! He is demanding and he doesnt take students BS excuses! If you don't care about the subject and you show it you will have a negative experience in the course which I think explains the negative responces. He loves to teach and he REALLY cares about his students! he is kind and funny and makes the class enjoyable for summer! TAKE HIM

He was my favorite professor at Fordham. The books are amazing and he adds demensions of insight most professors won't touch. If you like a professor that rewards critacal thinking and hard work he is for you. Don't listen to these clowns, Dr Mendez-Clark is invaluable to students looking to think outside the box.
