Tests are hard. Multiple choice answers are tricky. The essays questions will cover both lecture and reading. Tons of extra credit, do not expect it to raise your total grade. The professor was really nice at first. Towards the end, he would randomly pick on students during class. Warning he may offend some students with sterotypes.

Overall good professor. I found the subject matter interesting. Did not like how tests were not all based off facts or material from the book, but rather how well you grasped his opinion. Confusing/ tricky tests.

Ryno was a very humble professor. The course was very rigorous. I personally didn't like the way he taught and lectured bc he would always go on tangents & his style of note taking is not very mainstream, so it's hard to take notes and process the info to understand the material. His tests are tough, but it's open note, & he curves the grade scale

He teaches lessons by using stories so you kinda need to decipher what he's trying to tell you. He can be really funny sometimes and never has homework for his class except studying. You can also do an essay if you feel your test grade was not good enough and you can most likely get a better grade.

So funny! Rants about his own experiences but they are funny & helpful bc he connects them back to the material. Wants everyone to pass! If you show up on test day not feeling confident will let you take it another day. If you get a bad test score you can make it up with an essay. Go to his office hrs for help, he is really helpful. Very nice!!

Mr Funny! Ryno is all around super! everyone keeps saying engine but what I think they don't understand is that everytime he introduces a concept of sociology, he immediately follows with examples his own personal real life, so you can tie them together.

He's such a cool guy! If you attend class and read, you'll be fine. It is 5 lecture exams and 5 quizzes based on the book. Sometimes he lets you use notes and if you write an essay it replaces your test score. Take him! He is a blast :)

Ryno is a great and entertaining teacer. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you show up for every class he gives you a couple extra credit points at the end of the semester. If you read the book, quizzes are easy. Tests are based on lectures, so TAKE GOOD NOTES. essays can make up quiz scores so take advantage of those. Overall AWESOME teacher.

Ryno is hilarious. He's really clear in his teaching because he covers one topic for a whole day, then reviews the same topic the next day before moving on. YOu can also ask him questions any time your confused and he's very helpful. he gives you study guides before each test. And you can write essays for extra credit. Highly recommended!
