Great Prof. Actually works in the field of what he teaches. Does ask some unclear questions but your fine if you pay attention. Pretty easy grader, tests are right from the book, and he reviews whats on the test the class before, including giving the essay question beforehand.

As another student said, he's a great "old school" professor. Dr. Weiner runs the class more like a law school class and less like an undergraduate class. Beware: sometimes he asks questions that are unanswerable and can be a bit moody. He's a good professor and good person though.

Really interesting class. Block class on Friday so can get seem a little long but great professor overall. Yea he missed a couple of classes but only nerds complain about that. Be prepared to be called on randomly but no worries. A term paper and 2 exams = A-ok with me.

I heard great things, but I hated this class. He didn't start coming to class until halfway through the semester. Kept pushing back the midterm but barely moved the 20 page paper. Class discussions go nowhere. Uses the Socratic Method but never gets to the point. Can be a little antagonistic. At least his examples & case studies are interesting

great teaching style-your notes become clear outlines that you can study from directly. uses the Socratic method and role-playing-ish to teach, which can result in hilarious answers and examples. great guy. 6 months after having him, he still shakes my hand and asks how i'm doing when i see him on campus.

thought it'd be great, it was AMAZING. teaches with examples from his sex offender clinic. calls on you randomly but is completely fine hearing "i don't know". 2 papers reviewing articles and he doesn't really care about them-said he assigns them cause he has to. don't have to read, but take good notes. easy midterm. friday block but so worth it!

He was the laziest teacher I had the unfortunate chance of sitting in his boring class. He needed to get a haircut also. I could never understand what he was mumbling about. There was lots of snoozing in this class.

I graduated in 2000, so I don't remember the name of the classes I took. But Doctor Weiner was awesome. His classes were difficult, but he was extremely interesting and I learned a lot.

He is a great 'old school' teacher who writes on the board rather than use powerpoint. He is a cranky and moody guy though. He knows his stuff and is passionate. He likes discussion and will call on you in certain classes.

He was alright. I don't think I learnt too much in his class. He had an annoying habbit of asking rhetorical questions and making people try to answer them by swivelling and pointing at them. I think the fact that the class was at 8:30 screwed it up too.

Weiner is so unbelievably full of himself. The entire class is spent telling stories about his patients (he's a psychologist) that make him sound like he's some sort of hero. His TA does all the work. Despite all the problems with him, the class was easy
