Dr. P is amazing and I recommend anyone to take his classes. He is hilarious and will tell you the truth about anything. Cares about his students and will rearrange his academic schedule to suit yours if you need time in other areas. Do not mistake his friendliness and relaxed demeanor for weakness, you are expected to do the work. Great man.

He's awesome! Super sweet. He will help in any way he can and knows what he's talking about! If you're in his class, talk to him. He's smart and very helpful! Plus, his dog hangs out in his office and is very sweet.

JP is a great professor. I learned a lot from his class. I would take him again definitely. JP is more than happy to give you feedback if you need any in regards to class. Keep up with your work and you'll do fine. His grading is very fair. Show up and don't take him being nice for granted or you won't pass.

BEST professor I had at BCC. Will go above and beyond to help you succeed. He is extremely helpful and willing to accommodate any issues you have for you to pass his class. Contribute to class and do your work and you will do great. I would take any class he taught again, highly recommend JP!

JP is the man! If you at all enjoy history or politics you will love his class. It is a lot of work but he is always willing to help and often lets you correct work to receive a higher grade. He is also willing to go above and beyond to help you with other things non school related. Highly suggest JP!!!!

This is my second class with Dr. Pierog. While reading through everyones opinions and seeing his ratings made me smile. Dr. Pierog is the best professor I've had at BCC. I would recommend him to anyone but would highly recommend freshmen students to take his class. If he knows you want it he will jump through hoops to help get you there!!

DR. Pierog is by far my favorite professor at Suny Broome. This man will go through a wall to help you out even if you are not in one of his classes. The workload can be heavy at times but he gives you ample time to complete it and if you need to resubmit he clearly explains what you need to fix. JP will help make Suny Broome a pleasant expierence.

Great guy! Super helpful! Only reason I don't like the class is because it is taught online. (It was supposed to be a regular in class structure, but our original teacher got sick right before the semester and the class was given to Pierog and switched to online format) I don't learn well online but he's SUPER helpful with that.

One word can sum up my two semesters with him, AMAZING. He is the most helpful professor anyone could ask for. Yes, he wants you to do your best so you have to work and work hard. Professor Pierog is probably one of the best teachers on campus. Some people may not like him, but he tells it to you straight. As long as you do the work, you should be fine.
