Very interesting professor! I really enjoyed the class and her lectures, however it is an extremely hard class and she demands a lot from you. Along with the text you have to read an entire novel and write a paper and her tests are very hard! If you miss class you will be lost and make sure you keep up with the reading.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this woman as a person and a professor. She sat on my thesis committee, counseled me during a personal crisis, and inspired me to become a professor. I use her material in my lectures today. Amazing individual!

Worst teacher I've ever had. Eighteen years later I still recall just how poorly taught was my class, how fictional was her interpretation of biblical history, and how glib and "cute" was her method. This is why Baylor is doomed to second tier
