I had Rosemary for 2 courses (both biology) and loved them. The power points were very helpful and I found the courses interesting. Rosemary really seems to care about all her students, making conversation with them outside of class and being genuinely interested in their lives.

Though Rosemary is not as up to date on how to use power point like some other teachers, her teaching comes from experience and is always thorough. Some teachers only use material from the textbook while she has taken the time to provide other material to study and alternative ways to learn the material. Her lectures are full of knowledge.

Lectures are long, talks too fast. Powerpoint notes are on D2L but are useless;only have one word per slide. Doesnt give any tests; goes straight to the midterms. Nice lady but not a great professor. Wouldnt recommed.

A very nice person, but a terrible teacher. Lectures are disorganized, and she frequently makes confusing mistakes. Powerpoints are useless, and there are no lecture notes. Exam questions are ambiguous. Only way to pass is to read the textbook. She loves biology, but cannot teach it.

She's a very sweet lady, and very funny. However, her powerpoints are essentially useless. Her explanations are vague and a bit confusing. She's obviously in love with the subject, however, she behaves as though the class already has a high degree of biology knowledge, making for very fast and difficult to follow lectures. Stick to the textbook!!

Lecture notes not available if you miss a class even for medical reasons. Had 2.5 lectures before the class list was finalized and we had a quiz. No practice tests available, undefined structure in this class. Very unhelpful when student is struggling, She is a lecturer not a teacher,class isn't following her and she doesn't seem to care

Rosemary is a total sweetheart and very passionate about biology, but her teaching style isn't as clear as it probably should be. The class averages for every test were shockingly low. If you have a class with her, it's definitely worth buying the textbook--you'll want it.

Rosemary is awesome! I was worried at first to take her class because of all the bad reviews here, but Rosemary turned out to be a very good teacher. She has great teaching skills, loves her work and is also pretty funny. And, she is very understanding about the stress of being a student. Rosemary is a wonderful person. I highly recommend her class

I found Rosemary to be very helpful and nice. She made time for me in her office hours and gave me great tips. She also loves what she does and is very passionate about biology which made it way more interesting for me since I didn't really want to take the class to begin with. It turned out to be one of my favourite classes.

bad teacher so i barely went to class - just read the text book, which got me an A. she sometimes forgot to come to class and often marked things incorrectly. she marked my lab final as 64%, i asked her about it and turns out she made a mistake and i actually got an A, she changed it but still... WOW.

Worst professor i have ever had. Unreasonable and does not give helpful lectures. I was better of learning it from my text book then showing up for her class. Hell she even forgot about class once!
