Barry is a very kind man but his days of teaching should've been over long ago. It upsets me that I paid my hard earned money to take this class because it was a waste of my time other than the credits earned. He walks into class and it takes him at least 20 minutes to get situated if you're lucky. This class is just a mess.. Take another professor

I enjoyed Prof. Barry's class. He is very knowledgeable, answers your question by making sure you understand. He has a great sense of humor. Always in a good mood, pleasant personality, easy to relate to and you can tell he enjoys teaching.

Professor Barry is a kind hearted man. Very wise and uses his wisdom for his students to learn about todays and past world problems. There is tough tests but they are just as easy if you just study correctly. I recommend this class as an easy "A". Just put effort and you are good. Don't buy the book i never used it once. Hes a whatever teacher, really confusing at times. Seems like he doesn't remember what he says sometimes as he goes back on things he told us in class. VERY specific in wording with answers. But I passed so its a whatever teacher. If I knew about him before I probably would've taken someone else.

Professor Barry was the most unorganized teacher I have ever had. He will get you confuse and give you horrible tests. Even if I had a good grade in his class, be prepared to work Really HARD if you want to understand him. Furthermore, he did not even give us the teachers evaluation which is suppose to be mandatory. Bad professor !!!

He's not very organized, his directions are unclear, and when he gives you the answer to something but you later use that answer on a quiz or test, he says it's wrong! This class was very frustrating, but I got A's on the quizzes, so I think I got an A or a B final grade. But his quizzes are unorganized and full of vague questions. Good luck.

Pretty easy class as long as you study for exam. There is a writing/presentation group project His exams and quizzes are very specific about the answers to them. He is anal about that type of stuff. As a funny side note, it takes him like 15-20 minutes to set up for class because he is not very up on technology. Also, he is easy to push over, so.

Unorganized and slow! We get through one slide per class....barely! Also, he goes around your questions often answering incorrectly. We don't get through the information on the test before the test. Assigned homework and never graded it. When I asked about it he told me I couldn't see the grade. The book is not objective.

Not a good teacher. Doesnt ever use the textbook, when he does teach he uses badly put together powerpoints and he expects you to know things for the test that he never spoke about. He teaching is all over the place. Do not take his class.

This class is a pretty easy class in general but my only issue was that his teaching style was all over the place. The tests would be hell because he would put random questions in. Also DO NOT BUY THE BOOK.. total waste of money, he claims he uses it but its only for one or two questions on the midterm or final.

Horrible teacher. He does not clearly explain anything, ends up "teaching" terms AFTER your test. Sometimes he gets his facts mixed up. He can be rude to students at times. His tests are hard because some questions do not come from the book or notes. His lectures are extremely boring and the videos are ancient (VHS). Do not pick this professor

He THINKS he's being innovative in his teaching style, but in reality he wastes inordinate amounts of time. So much so that you end up being tested on material/chapters he has not had the time to cover yet. Tests are very difficult. The students behave like middle schoolers because of how he runs class. An interesting subject became torturous.

this guy sucks, his lectures are boring, few homeworks but you have to guess what to do, cuz he doesn't explain. NO reviews, his tests are superHard (essay all ?s, not multiple choice). tough grading everything, at least during tests you can work with a partner. tests sometimes include futures chapters that he nevers go over it.
