Rather nice man, easy to follow, has interesting stories, and makes great connections with real world and linguistics. Only thing I didn't like is that you took up the answers to the text questions after handing it in so you often forgot what you wrote. But you can work on that easily, just a heads up

BEST PROF EVER. He knew everything possible about the subject and it truly showed in the lectures. I could tell he had a true passion for Linguistics because he was able to make everything seem interesting in how he explained things. He was the coolest and nicest guy you could meet. I hope to see him perform music in the future! Happy Retirement!!!

Second year with this professor, and loved every minute. Down to earth guy, easy going when it comes to homework and exams, and when it comes to linguistic knowledge, the man is unmatched. Highly recommend his courses.

Love, love, love his class. I'm taking first year linguistics and, while it's still a little difficult, Prof. Hagman is so good at clarifying. He manages to make the lectures informative and really entertaining.
