Roy Joe Harris is by far my favorite math professor. He cares about the students, makes class fun to go to and does what he can to ensure you understand the material. He's a gem to this world and a great math professor to start with if you're new to college.

Roy Joe rocked! I'm not the best at math but after talking to him he met with me early in the morning and helped me during his office hours. He also is really funny in class and like to tell funny stories to pass the time.

BEST PROFFESOR EVER! Hes so caring and funny. I made a low 70 on the first test, but after that I went to his office with any questions and IT HELPED. I ended up making 90s on the rest of his tests. Harris is always willing to help. Even though homework isnt mandatory, it will help big time. Hell make math very understandable. Highly recommend.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. Math can get difficult to understand at moments but the way he taught it made complete sense. He makes you feel welcome in the classroom and is the most down to earth person and funny person I know. His tests are strictly based off the reviews, so study that well and ask him for help and you'll do fine.

Dr. Harris is by far the best professor I've ever had. He makes learning a ton of fun, and he explains things really well. Also, he has some of the funniest stories I've ever heard. He's a very nice, friendly guy, and I highly recommend him.

I liked Dr. Harris a lot. He is very approachable. You have optional homework out of the text book every week that, if you do it, you can use on a quiz that you have at the end of every week. 4 exams. He is very understanding and not a hard grader at all. He gives partial credit on everything

Roy Joe shares an understanding with his students about how hard this math really is. He is a great professor and helps in every way possible. He was there all semester for me and in the end, recognized all of my hard work and effort. I wish he taught all the Calculus classes! Take him he is amazing!

I took Trig online with Dr. Harris, and math in general is tough for me. After going to his office, he makes trigonometry seem like the easiest type of math that exists. He's SO lenient on test and homework answers, and ALWAYS willing to help you bring your grades up. I'd take from every math I have to take in the future if I could. 10/10

I took Harris online and made an A in the class. For any kind of math online, you have to work and teach yourself, but Professor Harris held review sessions for tests, which were extremely helpful. Definitely go if he offers! You can make an A if you do the homework he assigns and comprehend the material.

Dr. Harris is awesome. The east Texas accent and the cute rugged guy looks just add to the fact that he is helpful. HE KNOWS MATH! [and loves the cowboys] lol...I made a C in his class but that is a MIRACLE because i am horrible at math and this was a repeat course for me. TAKE HIM! you will LOVE him!

He wants you to do good. Homework is assigned through the book and online. The book homework is on the friday quizzes and the online homework is what he gets your homework grades from, VERY EASY. I would recommend him to anyone! I wish he taught higher level maths. He also jokes a lot in class, they are corny jokes and sometimes actually funny.
