Comment:

Roy's lectures are great and your grade come from multiple quizzes rather than midterms. In order to do well you literally need to memorize all his slides word for word, not exaggerating. If you're able to do this it's an easy A+. He'll also take in student made questions for the quizzes and the final is based off of previous quiz questions.

His quizzes are difficult, but he is very helpful. We covered a lot of material on each quiz so It was difficult to keep up with studying with one occurring every two weeks. This may be a challenge if you have a full course load.

Roy is an extremely polite and friendly guy. His quizzes are extremely fair, every single question on is from his notes, there were no surprises at all, and he tells you that the first class. He is really helpful and makes Biology more interesting. He's also pretty jacked, and the girl students of the class will love his summer outfits.

Really great professor! This course has a lot of terms and concepts to know - it can get a bit confusing/boring. Roy is always more than happy to give you his time to help you out with any problems you're having. Very nice! Keeps very long, dry lectures as interesting (as possible). I would recommend him to all first year biology students.

Solid prof. Clear notes and lectures were well delivered. He's a bit preachy but seams like a genuinely good guy. Lecture part was good considering there was enough material for two courses. Too bad the marking for the lab component was ridiculous.

Roy was a great teacher. You don't have to go to his class if you study the notes, but he explains everything in lecture and after having Egger for 101, Roy is a breath of fresh air. Really seems interested in having the students learn and enjoy what he is teaching, and if you study the notes and read the textbook you'll get a good grade
