Comment:

Pretty good professor, extremely knowledgeable, and very nice. Lectures are dry and the material is difficult but interesting. Not much info given on the slides so you had best be in class if you want to do well on tests. Take detailed notes in lecture, skim the textbook, and you'll do fine. Not an easy A but definitely not impossible.

Comment:

I took psy100 with prof. grahn and zakriski. Personally, I am more concerned with the social side of psychology, and grahn taught more of the science side. I find this topic challenging, but grahn made it as understandable as possible for her students.she really encouraged class participation but never actually took attendance. A great teacher

This freshman seminar was very easy. There was only one test, which required studying, but then the course was easy. Grahn is very knowledgeable but the course could've been taught better.

Love Grahn. A lot. Learned most of our names within a few weeks. Very considerate and respecting. Offered online chat sessions to help students with last minute questions. Her study review guides were really helpful and made studying for the tests very easy.

Such a sweet, intelligent person who really cares about and listens to her students and their suggestions. The class was boring and hard to follow (should've been bio), but she did everything she could to make sure we understood.

Pace a bit slow if psych is your thing, but ensures everyone understands all material and excels in her course. Extremely accommodating, sweet, helpful advisor. Loves her students and her work, goes out of her way to answer questions. A wonderful resource to have for students with sincere curiosity. Would love to work w her again!
