Terribly boring. She taught almost exclusively from PowerPoint slides, mostly just reading them off (including the code) with a few works in between. I got more from reading the book. Her exams are pretty difficult, but the material to study from was readily available online or in the book. She is also a poor academic adviser (forgetful, etc).

Probably one of the worst classes/professors ever. Hard to learn from, Hard to listen too. She is brutal. Don't recommend. She is quite the character though.

Horrible class. Dropped it two days before the final. Unless you are good at at computer programming avoid this class at all class. Her lectures are pointless and useless. One of the worst teachers I have ever had.

I took this class when it was 111 about 8 years ago and her name was Ruth Ungar. Mind Numbingly Boring and impossible to follow but I found her very helpful and engaging during her office hours. She's much better one-on-one than lecturing.

Although her powerpoints are helpful, you don't need to go to class to get those. Her teaching style is not very engaging (that's putting it nicely) and if you're very tired, you will probably fall asleep. I was lucky, I had a great TA for this class. If your TA is good then you will be fine. Otherwise, find a friend with a good TA.

Stay away! It's better to sleep in you dorm than is to sleep in class. Worst teacher ever to be born. No skills, no sense. Her mono tone voice will put you to sleep. No help. WAY TOO MUCH WORK FOR TWO CREDITS. You are screwed if you're an engineering major. Get the other teacher, if you value your life.

One of worst teachers I have ever had. You need a class just to introduce you to her class. Assignments and tests are ridiculous. One of most boring personalities and annoying voices I have ever encountered in a human being. DO NOT take this class if you dont have to for the love of God. HOLY crap. I have not once stayed awake for a full lecture. Her voice has the quality of a droning insect that lulls people to sleep. Impossible to understand her since all she does is read off of a powerpoint.

Knows her stuff but doesnt know how to teach it. BORING as all hell, i slept better in her class than in my dorm room. Tests are impossible, and so are the labs, especially difficult when the TA's cant speak english!
