There are three test and a final exam. Every chapter has a homework assignment where only one of nearly ten problems is graded. Allows an equation sheet, but exams are tough. Going to class definitely helps because he very briefly explains the material and the majority of the learning comes from doing in class problems on the white boards.

Dr. Kullgren is still one of my favorite professors in the engineering program. He takes difficult material, simplifies it, and forces you to practice, which makes him an excellent professor.

this dude is so cool. there arent many girls in engineering, but dr. kullgren really got me inerested in it.he is a very nice guy and is very heplful too! i would recommend him to anybody!

Professor Kullgren does a great job at teaching and kept the class very interesting, always using real world examples. I give him an A++ for helpfullness, becuase he replies to emails with the quickness, with thorough answers to your questions. He is very down to earth and has allot of common sense

Cool guy, will joke around with you. Board work does help. Grades a bit hard on homework, but gives a decent curve if necessary. WAY better than Jabarri! Taking Kullgren again for ME353.
