Comment:
he is philosophically intelligent, but he talks about Socrates and Plato as if they are his best friends. He's extremely descriptive in breaking apart class readings from the text. Class is SUPER BORING. Never listened, but studied a night before exams and wrote the papers. Earned a B- for hardly any effort. Take this class for an easy grade.

He's a really nice guy and knows what hes talking about. However the class is very boring and sometimes he is unclear. Only grades are the midterm, final, and one paper. There's no homework. I kind of read the books and kind of paid attention in class and got a B. If you like phil youll get an A

He is a nice guy who loves philosophy, but i found the class extremely boring. He reads out of the book every class and stops to discuss everything. He knows what he is talking about and I'm sure is a great teacher for those who enjoy philosophy. He isn't clear on grading and tests or the final.

Did not learn a thing in the class. Got a b. I literally fell asleep everytime I went to class. He seems like a nice man but crazy boring. One of my least favorite classes I've taken so far.

Took him for Ethics. Extremely boring, but if you pay attention (which most of my class didn't) you'll get at least a B on the exam. Only grades are midterm, final, and a paper. See him on his office hours and he'll love you- you'll be guaranteed an A.

Most boring class I have taken in my life. The class is easy since it revolves around 3 short books. In class, he reads them word from word. He is very hard to understand and puts the class to sleep by closing the blinds. It is literally impossible to stay awake! There is not much direction.. Told class to write a paper on ethics for final paper

VERY BORING CLASS! I could barely keep my eyes open during the class. He is very had to understand and can never hear when someone talks. There is a midterm, final, and a 4-5 page paper. For the midterm and final you need to know the books. Also attendance is mandatory. I do not recommend this class.

Straight forward class. Take this class is you want an easy Gen Ed. All you need to do is read the assigned readings and pay close attention to what he says in class. He reviews for the midterm AND final. The class is BORING. But, I'd rather have an EASY boring class, than an HARD fun class...PLUS YOU'LL LEARN A LOT ABOUT PHILOSOPHY!

The most BORING class I have ever sat through. He speaks very quietly, cannot hear very well, and calls attendance every day because he doesn't know his students. My class was an hour and 15 minutes long and he spent the WHOLE time reading straight from the book. Only a midterm and final and 1 easy research paper. Definitely my least favortie class

OMG, I love this man! He is so cute&&he really knows and is passionate about philosophy. There are 2 tests (midterm and final) and a 4 page paper that you can write about your opinion on anything covered in class. Class could be a bit boring at times because its a discussion based class, but this is the class to take.

Dr. Telegar's class was life changing, powerful, and very interesting. My philosophical horizons expanded with the introduction of dialogue, David Bohm, Heidegger, and Krishnamurti. This course is very unstructured; the professor would read from the book, and the class would engage in dialogue. He is a jewel in the philosophy department; take him!

He's a really nice teacher & very knowledgeable about what he is teaching. Class can be boring but it won't if u sit close & listen. It reflects a lot about life so everybody needs dat. =) If u r confuse, ask a question or say ur point of view. He is willing to listen. Just a midterm, final, & one 4 pg paper. Not bad at all.

Pretty boring all he did was read the book then go over what he read. He takes attendance and there are only two essay tests and one short paper. If you go and try a little you will do fine.
