Comment:

She is nice, actually teaches us good material, and makes harder problems seem easy. Helps you whenever you need help and understands that math isn't the easiest thing on earth, but she does her very best to make it easier.

I worked hard in this class. Although math isn't my best subject, I managed to do better in calc than precalc. Shes a good teacher but the material is hard. OU has a terrible math department in general and shes one of the better professors. Shes likes if you go to office hours and answer questions in class.

Comment:

Gives a worksheet of problems graded for accuracy and practice problems from the book graded for completion from homework almost every class period. Its a lot a of work and normally only worth 4-5 points,but she will help you if you reach out to her. Just make sure you get all the homework points and you will pass just fine

Comment:

Calculus is not an easy class, but she does a good job of teaching it. Lectures can be pretty dry and there is a lot of information thrown at you. It is best to do all of the practice problems to fully understand the material. There is homework due almost every class period, but there are no quizzes. Overall, a solid choice for math.

She was a great teacher. Math is not an easy subject to teach and she did a great job with it. She would go over several examples in the notes and then you would practice for homework You had a graded homework assignment each night. If you listen to her advice the first day, "to learn math, you have to do math" you will do fine. 3 tests and a final

Class was pretty straight-forward. No quizzes, but homework was due almost every class period. The homework was not hard by any means, and she would answer any questions about it. Tests make up 500 out of 600 points for the class. She lectures from beginning to the end of class, but is very descriptive and helpful.

Sherri is one of the best math professors she can explain good and I understand what she is saying. Math for me is hard but if you are good in math you should be fine. We get homework every class and we had 3 tests and 1 cumulative final. She does take off a lot of points on things so get ready for that and her lectures are kinda boring

She gives homework every class period meaning the prior assignment is due. Lectures from start to finish of class. Material itself is hard but she will answer and explain your questions. If you want your math class to not slap on your back, take her point blank.

Mrs. Zimmerman is a great professor. She not only knows what she is teaching but she also has fun with the class too. Highly recommend her. You usually have homework almost everyday and attendance is required-you have to sign in. Loved Zimmerman and would take her again in a heartbeat.

Probably the best math professor at OU. She is very thorough and will clarify if you have questions. By no means is her class easy, so I'd recommend not skipping, but she helps out! Weekly quizzes, 3 exams and a final. Posts all of her class notes online and gives reviews for all of the exams! Never thought that I wouldn't hate calculus!

Professor Zimmerman is one of the best math professors. All her notes match the tests. There isn't anything tricky. She responds to emails within a timely manner. The homework does not take forever to do. Attendance is essential to passing this class. 3 test and homework assigned every week.

She scans all of her class notes and posts them online which is extremely helpful for homework (which there is lots of). She doesn't give a lot of time for tests and quizzes, but she tells you what she expects and follows through. Very organized, but also a little on the dry side.

Professor Zimmerman is the best math teacher I've ever had. She is a above and beyond with providing us all the material we need to learn. Do each homework on your own, study for tests, attend her office hours or tutoring if needed and I guarantee you will pass with flying colors. Thank you Professor Zimmerman for a great semester!

Good teacher but she doesn't give much time for her quizzes and tests in my opinion. She is very organized and grades quickly. I wish she would have given more examples on how to do problems but her guided notes were extremely helpful. i definitely appreciated how organized she was.
