I have to be honest, Dr. Tyuse is not a good professor. She gives very basic lecture with sometimes intuitive information. I was also not impressed with her insensitive comments about a student in our class with a learning disability and tokenizing students (ex.- asking the only male student in class to answer and give "male perspective").

I would recommend her! She is lovely and every time I emailed her she would get back to me and she helped me out a lot. She has a soft spot for you if you participate in class because she likes getting to know people's stories and getting to know them personally. I thought she was a good professor.

She is a nice person but definitely the most ignorant professor I have encountered. She is very gullible as she gets all of her information from Fox News and MSNBC. You learn absolutely nothing. She is poorly informed and delivers all of her information as a democrat and cannot understand how republicans exist. Should never be allowed to teach.

she is a nice enough lady but a terrible teacher. she is extremely disorganized and tells endless stories about her life over and over again that are completely irrelevant. if you want to learn anything about social policy you will not learn it from this professor.
