after my first apparel class, I recommend Sachi to anyone that is willing to work hard and who wants to get the most out of their classes, she really pushes her students to turn in perfect projects, since she will work with you even outside class to help you get to where you need to be, her class is not easy, but it is worth the effort.

Sachi is one of my all time favorite professors in the fash department! She tends to change due dates a lot which gets a bit confusing. But, she gives great feedback on assignments, & is always more then willing to help you during and outside of class! She will encourage you to always do your best, I would recommend Sachi to anyone!

Amazing professor who is attentive and fair. She gives ample opportunities outside of class for extra help. At least take her once. Even if you are not in one of her classes, she is willing to help and teach you! Super motivating. I highly recommend her for any level class.

One of if not the most knowledgeable, helpful, well-connected professor in the fashion dept. She's very picky and tough and will push you to better your construction skills. She won't take your bs and isn't afraid to call you out, which leads some people to be offended by her; just be polite, speak respectfully, and don't be afraid to joke with her

she was so unclear on everything that we needed to do. by the time something was due everyone had different things to turn in because they were so unsure of what she wanted from them. she was so rude & mean to her students and would treat them horribly, yelling or putting them down in front of the whole classroom, embarrassing them completely .

Sachi is an amazing professor who knows her stuff! I didn't have much previous sewing experience but Sachi taught me everything I needed to know in order to become successful in the industry! She likes anyone who is willing to work hard. She is a perfectionist and detail-oriented. You won't regret taking her..she has so much to offer her students.

I regret taking her. Everyone told me she is the best teacher but she didnt teach us anything. She was mean in every critique and I never felt comfortable in her class. She was always unclear, and I was always confused on what we needed for the next class. DONT TAKE HER! Its a hard class, and the only way to get a good grade its if she likes you...

Sachi grades very differently for elective classes vs. required. I really like her. She puts in a lot of extra hours to help any student, even those her aren't in her classes. Freshmen and Sophomores: If you aren't prepared for hard work and HONESTY, don't take her... in fact, declare a different major. People in the industry have high expectations

Sachi is a great teacher. She loves when her students has her questions. My class was very good and she appreciated that we asked her every question of our concerns. I thought I already knew how to sew... boy was I wrong. She had 4+ extra help sessions, one official one before each project due. My sewing has improved so much and I am very grateful for her harsh grading. The only reason I would ever say not to take her is if English is not your first language... neither is hers, you might have a hard time.

Sachi is very entertaining. She is also a hard worker, staying very late most nights to help students. If she offers an extra help session, go to it! She is so busy with all kinds of other activities at the college, it may be the only outside of class time you get, and her help is worth getting. She knows her stuff!

in addition to the fact that the Incredibles character Edna was created after her(true story), she is one of the most hardworking professors at the school. she is hilarious and stays late late late to help her students construct. and she knows a lot about design too! work hard and be kind. also, it helps if you are good at illustration.
