Worst econ lecturer. She does not 'teach' ie what she says has no relevance to the course. Read the book for some real help. The EC helps but she makes it very difficult, the info needed is not in the book. I pulled an A in the course, there was 1 other. Mostly Cs and Ds, a number of Fs. I am an econ major, but do yourself a favor, pick another

its hard in the begining,but DONT DROP the class! she gives like 500 points worth of extra credit which can really boost your grade.i literally failed ALL of the tests and still pulled out a C in the class.Contrary to what she says-she DOES have an attendance policy so go to class!Dont leave early!!

she is unhelpful and her tests are really hard. her review sheets dont help much...i studied 2 whole days endlessly for the final and i still got a C in the class. in order to understand anything, read the book to yourself, she doenst help.

Unclear, very general lectures. She takes attendance, gives EC which will help you. I got an A, only a few others did. Looked like a lot of Cs. Read the material, go to class, and do the EC and you should get a B.

Tough professor but fair. Show up for class. Do NOT leave early. Listen, pay attention, do your homework. Do your extra credit. Do all of that and you'll do fine. Maybe. I ended up with a B. Many students received B's and C's. Some got A's, some got D's or F's even. You get what you earn.

VERY hard!Tests,quizzes,her in general is hard.The only thing that saves everyone from failing is extra credit.Go to class EVERYDAY and study study study.I would NOT take her,didn't learn a damn thing.Just got my C and got out.Not very helpful,doesn't really care a/b students.Try to get someone else

not the most personable or fun person but i got 40's on all my tests and like 70's on all my quizzes yet i still managed to get a C in her class. she gives a lot of extra credit and has a 12 point grading scale. its pretty rough the whole semester, but you wont fail.

Class is hard but she's not as bad as everyone makes her out to be. If you really try hard you can definetly do well. just show up every day and make sure to do the e.c. assignments and hw. She's got a bad rep. but she really isn't so bad if you're willing to put in the effort

The tests are error filled, unclear, and the diff version vary in difficulty. She commutes from far away and wants to get in and get out. Chinese grad students do the grading (who she blames for all mistakes). Lots of EC points, attendance too, don't take her unless micro is easy for you.

Makes things a lot harder than they have to be. Not very clear, sloppy handwriting, not considerate. Decent person, but TERRIBLE prof. I went the entire sem wishing I had someone else. Do whatever it takes to NOT get Baxter. Go to class before breaks for ec points. Big curve at the end.

The class was really hard. I had a low D at the end of the semester but she gives you a lot of extra points at the end of the semester if you have been to class and done all of the work. When she averaged my homework/attendence grade in I came out with a high C. You can get a B with effort.
