Great professor. You will probably make a good grade as long as you do your homework, essay's and show up to class.

Great professor and very passionate about his work. His biggest thing in class is seeing improvement, so even if you are not a strong writer, take in what he has to say and draw from assignments to get better and you will pass. Fair amount of readings, but they are often short stories and not long; usually short assignments as well.

Professor Siegel's class was one of my favorites this semester. I agree that he doesn't give a lot of feedback on papers. His homework load was definitely manageable. Picked interesting books to read. Only a few papers during the semester (3 pages). Homework responses were pass fail. I really enjoyed his class, I thought he was a great professor.

Professor Siegel was a good professor however, he rarely gave much feedback on your paper unless you read it aloud to the class (which he made us do many times). Wait before you buy the books on the syllabus until he verifies them for the class. Be prepared to write 1-2 page papers as homework for every class and be willing to discuss every class.

You read a lot but class discussions are very in-depth and help you fully understand. No tests or final exam but your papers counted for a majority of your grade. Overall great class.

Every night expect to read some type of excerpt or article (or half an actual book/play) and have a one-two page paper written on it for next class. He doesn't give really any feedback on papers, just says if they are good or bad. Participation is a must, and you can only miss four days before he fails you. If you go to class you'll do fine.

Prof. Siegel is great I took his class online and he stays very in tune with his students. He is quick to respond to emails and is very helpful. The only thing that would be better from a DE standpoint is if he posted grades in Bb.

Bob is one of the kindest, most generous professors I've ever had. I've taken many courses with him and he is greatly interested in the students perspective and provides helpful and thorough feedback.

Professor Siegel is easy-going. He doesn't mind joking around with his students. His class made me fall in love with plays and playwrighting. He's a good man, you should take him if you have the chance.

class online except for one day a week. 3 papers mandatory or you fail if one wasn't turned in. miss more than 3 posts online and youre in trouble. gives comments that dont really help your papers- likes giving c's. good guy though, laid-back but horrible with names. i still dont think he knew mine even now. an ok professor overall.

Good class for the most part however; he doesn't give back enough constructive criticism. He tells you what works and what doesn't but can sometimes be vague and slightly biased towards your scenes based on his personal preferences. Never takes attendance or remembers your names until the last week. Kind of a laid back class

A very nice and laid back professor, but maybe a bit too laid back. Assigns a lot of writing, but never really gives a good amount of feedback or criticism. Will tell you what's working and not working, but when he returns your writing, there are only a few chicken scratches. Not for serious writers

Leads discussions, but welcomes all input regardless of it's value. As long as you read and turn in papers you actually spent some time on, you should do very well. If you're not willing to put in any effort then expect a lower grade. Good guy though....

this class is so easy, if you read what he assigns. everyone in my class who read got an a, everyone who didn't, usually weren't in class for the quizzes (only 10 questions-easy) and got low grades. he has discussions and as long as you're there and read you'll get an a. he explains everything.

this is a frshmn course...so easy. read though. he gives daily quizzes, and likes opinions.learn to form your own and tell him what you think about what you read and what it means-that's all he's asking for. he is very intellectual and kindof hot.
